Shaun Hart

AFL Norm Smith Medallist

Shaun Hart has been involved in sporting clubs from junior levels to elite teams as both a player and a coach for over 40 years. After retiring from a 15 year career as an AFL player with the Brisbane Lions that culminated in 3 premierships, his roles at the Gold Coast Suns and Port Adelaide have included senior and line coaching, player development, Head of Personal Excellence & player well-being. Shaun completed the level 3 AFL coaching course and is a level 2 Organisational Coach with the Institute of Executive Coaching and Leadership (IECL).

Kade Klemke

AFL Canberra Senior Coach (NEAFL)

Kade Klemke has spent the last 10 years coaching and is always looking to improve himself and help others around him. Kade loves sport and has been involved in cricket, tennis, athletics, swimming, and AFL. Kade has spent time coaching at many levels and age groups but more recently coaching in State League AFL (NEAFL) where the team won a premiership under his leadership. He has completed the level 3 AFL coaching course and has been involved at the highest level (AFL) as a player.

Lachlan Butler BExSc BBA

Head of Strength and Conditioning Sandringham Dragons AFL NAB CUP

As the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Sandringham Dragons Football Club, Lachie Butler serves committed athletes in their pursuits of becoming exceptionally strong, powerful and enduring. Lachie is a big believer in developing these qualities off the field also. Driven by professional best practice, Lachie is currently completing his master’s degree with a scientific research project.

Rachel Jones MApplPsych(Sport & Ex) BPsychSc(Hons) BExSc MAPS CSEP

Sport Psychologist

Rachel Jones is a sport psychologist with a background in exercise science, and has held roles in strength and conditioning, athlete welfare, and sports rehabilitation assessment and management, giving her an additional perspective to bring to her psychology work. She is also a Certified PR-6 Brain-Based Resilience Coach and a Certified Red2Blue Foundation Coach. Rachel is currently the lead Sport Psychologist for Gold Coast Suns AFLW Program, Queensland Cricket Women’s Program (Brisbane Heat and Queensland Fire), QAS Softball Program and Football Queensland (women’s program).

Dr. Ashley Humphrey PhD (Psychology)

Psychology Researcher and Lecturer

Ashley currently works as a Researcher and Lecturer in Psychology at Federation University, and is passionate about seeing people and organisations thrive. He is also the founder of the JET Network, an organisation that has worked with and mentored thousands of young people towards better mental health outcomes. Having been involved in high level sport himself, he understands first-hand the many difficulties athletes face in today’s complex world.
